Turkish Subtitle Generator
Add Turkish subtitles to any video automatically. Upload a video with Turkish speech and get accurate, timed subtitles back with ı, İ, ğ, ş, ç, ö and ü written correctly and every suffix in place.
Turkish builds long words by stacking suffixes, and the vowels in those suffixes change to match the root. The transcription understands vowel harmony and suffix order instead of guessing at the end of each word.

What makes Turkish subtitles different
Every language breaks in its own way. These are the parts that matter for Turkish.
ı and i kept apart
Turkish has a dotless ı and a dotted i, and a capital İ with the dot. They are different letters that change meaning, and the transcript writes the right one rather than collapsing them.
Suffixes that agree
Evlerimizden, not evlerimizdan. Each suffix takes a vowel that matches the root, and the transcript follows that rule so the ending is written as a Turkish speaker would write it.
Istanbul standard and regional
Standard Istanbul Turkish transcribes cleanly, and the vowel shifts of Aegean, Black Sea and eastern accents are handled from the audio without a setting.
Long words on a narrow frame
A single Turkish word can carry what English says in a clause. Lines are split by width and reading time so a long word is never broken across two cards.

Why Turkish needs a model that understands suffixes
Turkish is agglutinative: meaning is added by attaching suffixes to a root, one after another, and the result can be a single word where English needs five or six. Çekoslovakyalılaştıramadıklarımızdanmışsınız is the famous example, but everyday speech produces gidiyorum, gelmeyeceğim and yapabilirsin constantly. A transcript has to identify the root, then each suffix in order, then spell them with the vowels that harmony requires.
Vowel harmony is the rule that makes this tractable. A suffix has a front and a back version, and sometimes a rounded and unrounded one, and it takes the form that matches the last vowel of what came before. The audio carries that distinction faintly at best; the grammar carries it precisely. The model writes the harmonised form because it knows the rule, not because it heard the difference.
The alphabet has its own trap. Turkish has ı without a dot and i with one, and the capital of i is İ with a dot. Software written for English routinely capitalises i to I, which is a different Turkish letter and a different word. Every stage here, from transcription to export, treats the two as the separate letters they are.

Frequently Asked Questions
Specific to Turkish, not the generic list.
Does it write ı and İ correctly?
Yes. Dotless ı, dotted i, and their capitals I and İ are kept as separate letters throughout transcription, editing and export.
Are suffixes written with the right vowels?
Yes. Suffix vowels follow Turkish vowel harmony, so endings like -ler/-lar and -dan/-den come out matching the root as a native writer would spell them.
Does it handle regional Turkish accents?
Standard Turkish with an Aegean, Black Sea, Central Anatolian or eastern accent transcribes accurately. Very strong dialect is transcribed as far as the audio allows and can be corrected in the editor.
Can I export Turkish subtitles as an SRT file?
Yes. Export a UTF-8 .srt or .vtt for YouTube, or download the video with Turkish subtitles burned in for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.
Can I get English subtitles from a Turkish video?
Translated tracks are on the roadmap. The Turkish transcript is produced first so a translation is made from a corrected source.
Can I edit my captions before exporting?
Yes. Correct the transcript, adjust timings, choose a caption style and then export the finished video or a clean SRT or VTT file.
