Polish Subtitle Generator
Add Polish subtitles to any video automatically. Upload a video with Polish speech and get accurate, timed subtitles back with ą, ę, ł, ś, ź and ż all written correctly and every line timed to the frame.
Polish has seven cases, consonant clusters that other languages avoid entirely, and diacritics that change the meaning of a word when they are dropped. The transcription is built to get those right, not to produce something approximately Polish.
- All nine Polish diacritics

What makes Polish subtitles different
Every language breaks in its own way. These are the parts that matter for Polish.
Diacritics, not approximations
Ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź and ż are written, not replaced with their plain equivalents. Zadanie and żądanie are different words, and the subtitle says the one that was spoken.
Cases from context
The ending of a Polish noun changes with its role in the sentence. The transcript picks the ending that fits the grammar around it rather than defaulting to the dictionary form.
Clusters like szcz and prz
Polish stacks consonants in ways that confuse models trained mostly on Western European languages. These are recognised as the single sounds they are.
Room for long words
Polish words are on average longer than English ones, so lines are broken by width and reading time to keep two full lines readable in a vertical frame.
How to add Polish subtitles to a video
Upload, review, export. No timeline scrubbing and no timecodes typed by hand.
- 1
Upload your video
Create your free account, then drop in an MP4, MOV, MKV or audio file containing Polish speech. There is nothing to install.
- 2
Generate Polish subtitles
The model transcribes the Polish audio with the diacritics in place, chooses the correct case ending from context, and splits lines to a reading speed that suits long Polish words.
- 3
Edit and export
Correct any names or terms in the editor, then download the video with Polish subtitles burned in, or export a clean .srt or .vtt file.
What accurate Polish subtitles require
The diacritics are the first test. Polish uses nine letters that plain Latin does not, and each one changes pronunciation and usually meaning. A transcript that writes zadanie for żądanie or los for łoś has produced a different word, not a slightly imperfect one. The model writes the letter that was said, and the export is UTF-8 so it survives every player and platform.
Grammar is the second. Polish nouns, adjectives and pronouns take one of seven case endings depending on what they are doing in the sentence, and the audio for two endings can be very close. Getting it right means understanding the sentence, not just hearing the word — which is what the model does, and what a phonetic transcriber cannot.
The third is simply the shape of the language on screen. Polish words are long, sentences are built from them, and a subtitle line that would hold a full English clause holds half a Polish one. Line splitting here is driven by how long a line takes to read rather than by where a sentence ends, which is what keeps Polish subtitles legible on a phone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Specific to Polish, not the generic list.
Are Polish letters like ł, ą and ż written correctly?
Yes, all nine Polish diacritics are written and exported as UTF-8. They are never replaced with plain Latin equivalents.
Does it get the case endings right?
The transcript chooses endings from the grammar of the sentence, so the genitive, dative and instrumental forms come out as spoken rather than as the nominative default.
Can I export Polish subtitles as an SRT file?
Yes. Export a .srt or .vtt to upload to YouTube or Vimeo, or download the video with Polish subtitles burned in for Reels, Shorts and TikTok.
Does it handle fast or casual Polish?
Yes. Conversational Polish with dropped syllables and slang is transcribed as spoken. Very poor audio is where accuracy falls, and the editor is there to fix individual words.
Can it produce English subtitles from a Polish video?
Translated tracks are on the roadmap. The Polish transcript is produced first so a translation starts from a corrected source rather than a rough one.
Can I edit my captions before exporting?
Yes. Correct the transcript, adjust timings, choose a caption style and then export the finished video or a clean SRT or VTT file.
